This is a video authoring tool for both DVD and Divx files. TMPGEnc has always specialized in delivering high-quality products, and so did with this one. This application allows you to be highly creative regarding the type of video that you create. You can capture your video from DV and HDV camcorders. All you need to do is plug them in and their contents will appear as a source file on TMPGEnc. You can also import files and work from those if you don't have a camcorder. With this new version, TMPGEnc DVD Author with DivX Authoring allows you to add even more types of formats to your videos, ranging from DVD formats, QuickTime, and Windows Media. You can only export to Divx and DVD, though. If you like to use subtitles on your videos, now you can add more than one, making your files absolutely bilingual. This application now supports HD Divx files, so the sky is the limit. As you would expect from any authoring application, this one supports menu creation, title creation, and more. You can transcode your big projects for them to fit on a single layer DVD. This application is packed with features for both the novice and the experienced user.
